About Me.

Hi, I’m Zack. My quick professional background is that I discovered computer programming in middle school, and by high school I had built a successful SaaS software company. That startup won some awards and I moved from my hometown in Indiana to UC Berkeley where I study Philosophy, lead the Kairos Society chapter, and invest with Contrary Capital. Over the summer, I was an 8VC Fellow and did a product internship at Anduin Transactions where we built legal and financial workflow software. Academically I’m interested in political philosophy, the history of liberalism, complexity science, sociology, and how technology and society interact. I also host a podcast called Re:thinking where I interview different philosophers and technologists about some of these issues. I’m always open to meeting ambitious, curious, and kind people and you can contact me at zackabaker (at) g m a i l.
